I finally got my internship. Nope, not at the same place I mentioned earlier, but in a brand new place. And hopefully I will do what I want to do in terms of my learning =)
Okay, for the record, this is a old school style place. It is connected to church but not a faith based organization. I was assigned to USC MSW Alumni who Graduated in 2005. He seemed to be a very nice person, and very humble one too.
On my first day, unlike my other MSWians, I was told to read contract between my internship agency and Department of Mental Health, and to know what is it mean to be TBS worker (therapeutic Behavioral Services) I read and then I got bored. I ate my breakfast, my lunch and some snack...still it was only 2PM and I was already bored. This boring mode ran over my day and impacted me in this rainy day. I came back home, did some utter putter and end up NAPing without my own strong will.
Woke up, and did no work, no studies and no research. I am the lazy one I guess!
So, what do you think of my first day of internship? I did great huh?
